Long before he wore a uniform, Damon Pellican wanted to paint stories. Growing up on the work of Image Comics founders Todd McFarlane, Jim Lee, and Marc Silvestri, he had dreamed of being able to tell his stories through art. Damon however set this dream aside to proudly serve his country.

Damon would go on to spend three and a half years on active duty with the 82nd Airbone Division, Delta Company, 3rd Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, earning himself an honorable discharge in 1998, to which he followed up with four more years within the Army National Guard. Two decades later, Damon picks his pen and paper up again, reigniting his passion that sat patiently.

Today, Damon lives in Henderson, NV, with his wife Angela and son Noah, creating art and stories full time under the label Strike Hold Studio.
